To jointly address the severe challenge of global climate change, build a community of shared life between humans and nature, promote the achievement of global carbon neutrality goals, facilitate international cooperation, discipline construction, and technological innovation in the field of carbon neutrality, Tsinghua University, the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences, China Three Gorges Corporation, and University College London plan to jointly establish the World Society of Carbon Neutrality (WSCN).
At present, WSCN has gathered extensive global support, with founding members including over 40 institutions (including more than 20 international organizations) and over 30 individual members (including 25 international members), laying a solid foundation for the long-term development of the society through international cooperation.
